I will be with you on your journey of life...past, present, future, helping you to shed a light
I will not push, prod, or shake you but stick & follow you on the journey of your life.
If you get stuck I might free you with creativity not just with dialectical insight.
I will not walk ahead or walk behind but just by your side.
When you feel it is time to say goodbye.. just say this is where we part, on the journey of my life. - Farhana Moussa

Counsellor/Psychotherapist
Accredited Mediator
I am registered BACP (Accredited) counsellor/psychotherapist. I hold a Masters of Science in Psychology from University of East London, alongside a post-graduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of West London. My formal training is in person-centred and existential theories. These theories are based on the client being the expert of their life, that is you have the wisdom & knowledge of what is best for you as an individual. When you gain this self-awareness it allows you to cope and gain acceptance with the issues and difficulties that you are experiencing.
I have gained a lot of training in other modalities Mindfulness, CBT, Transpersonal, Psychodynamic, & Psychoanalytic, making me a more integrative therapist to see what fits best in the therapeutic space. I also use creative methods such as art, poetry, story telling, metaphors to help you explore to gain more insight into your feelings and behaviours.
I am a qualified Accredited Mediator/ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution) from Regents College, registered with Civil Mediation Council.
I am committed to my Continuing Professional Development in counselling. I abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) of which I am an accredited member.
I have volunteered in a few organisations as a counsellor/psychotherapist: Bereft (bereavement counselling), Entrust (High School counselling), Farsophone (Bi-lingual counselling), and BAWA (Barnet Asian Women's Association). I have been an associate therapist for MWS (Multi-Wellbeing Services).
